The case for less.
Simple interfaces take work. The goal is to remove friction without removing personality.
Keep the useful detail
Simplicity is a question of priority. A short explanation can save someone time. A well-placed label can prevent a mistake. Remove the things that compete for attention without helping someone move forward.
Use a consistent language
Spacing, type and colour create expectations. When the same action looks different on every screen, the interface asks the visitor to learn it again. A small system gives more space for the content itself.
Make room for character
A distinctive heading, a thoughtful transition or an unexpected composition can make a restrained interface memorable. Personality is strongest when it supports the experience.
