THE BRIEF

The business problem.

The people researching senior care are usually adult children under stress. The brief: a website for a family-owned in-home and memory care provider in Portland that feels warm, explains six services and their plans, and makes a first visit easy to book.

THE APPROACH

What I built.

Soft lilac, warm photography, a hand-drawn underline beneath ‘coming home’ and generous spacing set a calm tone. Call, email and visit options sit in one card directly under the hero.

For families who don’t know where to begin, a four-question care finder suggests a service and plan without asking for an email. Services, the day club, the care team, plans with a cost estimate and a journal of practical advice follow.

  • Responsive multi-page website
  • Six service pages
  • Four-question care finder
  • Plans, pricing and cost estimate
  • Team and about pages
  • Journal with care advice

A concept build, not a commissioned client project. The design and code are real and the site is live; the business, people, reviews, prices and figures on the demo are fictional.

Senior care website

CUSTOMER JOURNEY

An adult child researching care → care finder → service and plan → pricing and team → visit or call back.

AUTOMATION OPPORTUNITY

Care finder results could become a structured intake for the care coordinator, with call-back scheduling and an email summarising the suggested plan.

01 / THE WORK

Set a calm tone

Warm colours, real-life photography and plain language make a difficult decision feel a little lighter from the first screen.

02 / THE WORK

Help families start

The care finder asks who the care is for and what they need, then suggests a service and plan — no sign-up required.

03 / THE WORK

Explain each service

In-home care, special needs care, memory care, social activities, exercise and nutrition each have their own page.

04 / THE WORK

Make the visit easy

‘Book a visit’ stays in the header, contact options are always close, and the journal answers common questions before families call.

THE RESULT

A working demo, live online.

A senior care website, live as a working demo, that guides anxious families from their first question to booking a visit.
