Make it memorable
A mosaic of shapes and portraits gives kinly a recognisable look and turns the key numbers into part of the composition.
A hiring platform that feels human from the first screen.
Opens in a new tab. The business, people and figures on the demo are fictional.

The brief: a marketplace connecting companies with vetted freelance professionals. The site has to explain a three-step hiring process, show the depth of the talent pool and get businesses to submit a brief — without looking like every other recruitment platform.
I built the identity around a geometric mosaic of yellow, lilac and black shapes interlocked with portraits, plus a hand-drawn line that brings warmth to the clean typography. Headline numbers sit inside the mosaic instead of a separate stats bar.
The rest of the site follows the hiring journey: talent categories, how it works, featured professionals with rates and availability, a testimonial and a simple sign-up that separates hiring talent from finding work.
A concept build, not a commissioned client project. The design and code are real and the site is live; the business, people, reviews, prices and figures on the demo are fictional.
Talent marketplace
A hiring need → talent categories → how it works → featured profiles → brief and sign-up.
An AI-assisted brief builder could turn a short description into a structured role brief and shortlist matching profiles for review.
A mosaic of shapes and portraits gives kinly a recognisable look and turns the key numbers into part of the composition.
Six disciplines — design, engineering, marketing, product, data and writing — each with its specialisms, lead into the talent directory.
Three steps from brief to shortlist to hire, with what happens at each stage and how long it takes.
Featured profiles with ratings, hourly rates and availability lead to a one-minute sign-up with no card required.
A distinctive marketplace concept, live as a working demo, with the full journey from first impression to profiles and account creation.
I can design and build a talent marketplace like kinly around your real business — or modernise the website you already have. Send me your current site and what you’d like to improve.
